Linux Administration: A Beginners Guide 4th Edition
Additional Help

One of the great things about Linux is the sheer amount of help available on the Internet. Here are some web sites that you can start with:

www.fedoranews.org - A useful forum for administrators and users that are new to Linux. The questions tend to be focused on the Fedora Linux distribution, however, you'll find that many answers work across many distributions.

www.tldp.org - The Linux Documentation Project, one of the oldest collections of howto documents, manual pages, and documents focused on specific aspects of Linux. Even if you don't have a specific question, you'll want to take a look around.

www.howtoforge.com - Similar to TLDP, the Howto Forge is a collection of user submitted documents on how to configure a wide variety of tools and programs. In addition to the documentation, there is an active forum where questions can be submitted.

Linux Mailing Lists - There are a significant number of Linux related mailing lists hosted by the folks at www.kernel.org which have been around for... well, a long time. If there is a topic to be discussed about Linux, there is probably a mailing list for it here. A note of warning: These mailing lists are not for the faint of heart. Be prepared for your inbox to see more traffic than the Hollywood freeway in Los Angeles. If that is not your cup of tea, you may be interested in www.kernel-traffic.org which summerizes some of the lists on a weekly basis.
