Linux Administration: A Beginners Guide 4th Edition
Errata

On page 257, regarding the TCP urgent pointer, the book says "important data starts at offset pointed to by the urgent pointer". It should say "urgent pointer points to the offset of the octet following important data", relative to the sequence number.

On page 249, regarding the Ethernet diagram, the data (with padding) is 46-1500 bytes, not the whole packet. Note that the frame size is determined when there is no length information.

On page 143, regarding the setup of GRUB, the comand to install the MBR should read "setup(hd0)", not "setup(hd0,0)".
