Steve Shah is the Director of Product Management at the Application Networking Group of Citrix Systems (formally NetScaler, Inc.), where he is responsible for the Security and Layer 4-7 switching capabilities of the company's award-winning application delivery systems. Prior to Citrix, Steve played a similar role at Array Networks, where he did everything from kernel-level TCP/IP hacking to product management. Before Array Networks, he was a member of Alteon Web Systems, where he lead the development effort of their SSL accelerator product.
In addition to the Linux Administration: A Beginners Guide, Steve is a contributor to several editions of UNIX Unleashed, RedHat Linux Unleashed, Using Linux, and Content Delivery Networks. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Creative Writing and an M.S. in Computer Science from UC Riverside. Steve has been programming since 1986, performing system administration since 1992, and doing product management since 2001.

Wale Soyinka is a Systems & Network Engineering consultant with several years experience in the field. He holds a B.S.c in Mathematics/Statistics. He has written several Linux administration training materials used as part of the curriculum in some Community Colleges in the Bay Area. He is also the author of a projects lab manual, Microsoft Windows 2000 Managing Network Environments, which is part of the Microsoft certification series published by Prentice Hall.
