Well, not last blog entry ever. More accurately, this is the last time I use this site for my blog.

After a lot of thought, I finally decided that it is time to work as an independent. As part of that, I've separated my personal web site (www.planetoid.org) from my professional one (RisingEdge.org). Since the blog is really an extension of my professional life, the blog is moving over as well.

Since I was moving the blog, I thought about whether it was time to support comments and change the look. My final decision was that yes, I wanted to do both, and that meant either finishing some long overdue features on my own blogging software, setting up someone else's more functional blogging software on my own server or pushing the work out to one of the (many) blogging sites. Given that I was getting cranky about the fact that my DVD player segfaults, I knew it was time to let the work go to someone else. So, without further ado, http://steveshah.blogspot.com/ is now the new home of Spin on Cue.

For the sake of completeness on Risingedge.org, the top page is scraped and integrated into the site on a regular basis. All of the links (comments, etc.) go back to Blogger.com.

Here's to the end of a perl script, a few sendmail hacks, and a lot of words over the last year and a half. See you over there.
